|
|
The other day I was sat behind my computer and within 1-3 minutes, my entire body became paralized, and my eyes became dilated and I could not focus. My mother entered the room and found me hanging from my computer chair. I was otherwise completely lucid and was able to answer her frantic questions completely, but with some effort since my head was aslo in some state of paralisis, as was my ability to breath, or push out air from my lungs. My heart, however was fine since it was beating in overdrive. about 15 minutes later, (10 or so minutes after I was 'dumped' onto my bed by my mother) I began comming out of it little by little.
I can only assume it was some sort of Sleep Paralysis, but I had not slept for quite a few hours before this uccured. I went to the ER a few minutes after I recovered and got a perfectly clean bill of health after several blood tests, an EKG and a cat scan.
Would someone please give me some sort of hint as to why this may have uccured, or if it may do so again? I don't wish to be driving down the freeway and have my leg become lead weights. This really did freak me out considerably.
This may help;
I do suffer from some type of insomnia in which I cannot fall asleep till around 4:30 am, however, I can stay sleep from anywhere to 7am to 2pm.
I also suffer from very frequent headaches accuring once every day to once every three days.
Any opinions I can get may be helpful. As my doctor told me "these symptoms are unpresidented. I have no idea what could have happened to you". Basically, he thought I made the whole thing up. |

Actually, I wasnt even bored. I had just finished watching TV in the living room. When I sat down at the computer I was about to look something up. I was fully awake, not tired, sleepy, or anything similar.
I wasnt even tired as it was happening, still my heart racing as it was, this may have been more of a symptom, lol.
any ideas? |
