I've recently started cleansing my nasal passages with a Neti Pot. It's made a big difference in my congestion and drainage. It's worth a try....you can search on the web and find all kinds of sites. I picked mine up at a vitamin shop.

Good Luck. Very Happy

Thanks for your reply. The funny thing is yesterday I was so bad I went to the doctors. The doctor told me to get a neti pot of which I did. I have used it twice today. It has helped already. I wish I had known about these things before now. They are great.

Glad to hear it's helping out. I'm still having trouble doing it on one side...I guess it takes practice. I love how clear I feel afterwards.

Now if I could just figure out how to calm down my allergy eyes. Shocked

Yes it does taken some getting use to. I am not all that good at it yet but good enough to know that it is helping. I do have some problems with me eyes also. The eye doctor told me to get Zaditor over the counter from the drug store. It has helped me more than the RX kinds that my PC doctor had given me in the past. You might want to get it a try.

Wonderful! Thanks Mace! Visine wasn't cutting it. I just picked up a bottle of Zaditor. I can't wait to see if it helps. We got rain overnight so my eyes were better today. It's just a matter of time before they flare up again. Shocked

Thanks again! Take care.

MY PRESSURE GOES UP TO 19. I HAVE FOUND THAT AFFRIN NOSE SPRAY HELPS ME SOME IF I USE IT JUST BEFORE BEDTIME.

afrin helps me enormously when i use it but that stuff is crackrock

its unsustainable.. after about 15 hours you get rebound congestion and your nasal passages get irritated and it makes the problem worse.... then it can only be solved by using more afrin, the more you use the bigger of a tolerance you build up to it so it works for shorter and shorter periods of time each time it wears off the side effects get worse UGH

i wish afrin was a miracle drug but the addictive downside is just too dangerous

Hi -

I use Flonase daily. I also take Zyrtec. I find that the Flonase helps me tremendously and my sleep doctor advises me to use it. I use my neti-pot every 1-2 days and the combination of everything keeps me clear, breathing well and SLEEPING!

Good Luck! Very Happy
