I would like t talk to anyone whohad tyo go throuhg disabilty wiih Social security .I saw my Doctor today and he os going to help in this area and refered me to a lawyer ,who will help and gets the pap;ertworl from the doctor and gets things going .I am looking for any infomation on how long it takes to get it .

I think there is probably a lot of variation... Different states are farther behind than others.
I won my case, but it took 2 and a half years. I was originally denied and then my case went before an administrative law judge and I won there. A good lawyer is very valuable, because I know I just didn't have the energy or concentration to figure out everything on my own.
