03/26/12 Saginaw, Michigan Apnea Support Group 6-8 PM

Covenant HealthCare's apnea support group holds their next meeting Monday, 26 March 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Covenant HealthCare Mackinaw Campus - 5400 Mackinaw Road at Tittabawassee Road - Saginaw - in the basement conference room.

Light refreshments are provided. The Resmed and Respironics reps are usually there w/some of their items and to meet w/and talk with the members.

Anyone else in our message board community in the area to attend? Wouldn't THAT be fun to meet! I've had many occasions to meet tas members from across the country at various AWAKE and other support group meetings.

It was a good meeting. The Resmed rep couldn't make the meeting this month but the new Respironics rep was there w/a lot of masks and he gave a very good presentation about each one and helped some people out w/fittings and advice. Some lucky people went home w/a free RemZZZ.

The June meeting is going to be a workshop. Local DME providers should be there. We are to bring our masks and our hoses. There will be demonstrations and advice on cleaning our masks and putting them back together if they are the type to be taken apart for cleaning. Also assistance w/fit and fitting.

Next meeting will be Monday, 11 Jun 12. It will be a "work shop". We are to bring our current mask and hose.

Most likely several of the local DME providers will be present w/some of their "wares" and their RRT to speak w/those attending w/DME questions.

CPAP manufacturer reps will be available to speak to for those attending.
