i've been using the default of 81 degrees on my s9 elite

i keep my bedroom at 67 degrees

my humidifier is close to empty after 8 hours or so, and i even overfill it

what's the ideal or lowest temperature i should set the humidifier to for a room that cold?

Mine is set at 80% humidity - I use an auto bilevel. Most nights I have a wee bit of water left.
Be careful NOT to overfill the water chamber.......rain out etc
you shouldn't need to fill above the line - but regardless.......that fill line is there for a reason!

glad you are doing well with your S9 - I love mine

i overfill mine so it's halfway between between the 'do not fill past this line' line and the top

it works perfectly as long as it's only halfway above it... i need the extra water because these tiny humidifiers do not accomodate long sleepers, i really really really wish they would make an optional humidifier double the size of the one in the s9.

i've turned mine down to 75 and it's still working well for me and appears to be leaving me a lot more extra water, i think i'm getting closer to resolving this issue finally.

i've never had rainout once with the s9 elite & heated hose, and i always keep my room at 67 degrees or colder, it works beautifully.
