The meeting went over great. There were 5 sleep techs, 2 VNA DME provider RTs, the Resmed and Respironics reps and another DME provider present. The newest DME provider was great, very friendly and outgoing and full of information to share and answering questions. Plenty of time to talk to all of them, to look over their "wares" and to get our masks fitted and learn how to clean hose and mask if we didn't know how or wanted to see if there were any "tricks of the trade" we hadn't picked up yet.

I got a good fitting w/my newest Quattro FX w/its new Small size headgear - and forgot to have them demonstrate how to put the darn thing back togehter after taking it apart to clean it. I still run in to problems w/it occasionally - during the night naturally!!! grrrrrr!!! w/it coming apart up at the bridge of the nose area and then down (usually( the right side.

One of the techs suggested I might be interested in trying the Forma from F&P.

The Respironics rep had their new SimplyGo portable 02 concentrator on display and I fell in love!!! I want oneof my own! A SimplyGo, not a Respironics rep. *wicked grin*

The really great part of the meeting tho was the loosening up of our hosts, more open to the "patients" taking an active part in their therapy and having access to their own data, etc. So they are "learning" too. Which can only bode good for the future.
