I have just started using the CPAP Mask/machine to sleep with. I have mild Apnea. Its been about 1-1/2 months that I have been using one. I use the Rezmed Escape S9
I imagine all the machines in the S9 line are similar and when you set your humidity level it is the same way. I set mine at 4 by turning the right side knob to 4 and then hit the button to keep the setting at 4. Next when I turn it on I hit the left button and the bar graph loads completely to the end. Its been super till last night and now it will only load 2/3 of the way and will not completly load. I do not know what I can do on my end of this but I have tried to clean the filter/clean the tube/ the hose is correctly put on to the humidity part of the machine/the lid is closed correctly, no leaks from the water container. Is this a normal occurrence with these machines with a fairly simple step to resolve itself or will it need to be taken back to my medical supplier to technically fixed because the unit is faulty. I just wonder has anyone else had this happen to them? Do you think it will affect the machine from working correctly preventing air pressure to help me my sleep apnea? I am just concerned and before I call up the medical supply company I use I would like allot of users of CPAP machines to share their experiences with me. Being new I do not want to over react or not react in time thus using it still really screw up a already broken machine making it worse. Thanx in advance for all your kind advice and I will be checking back to read all my replies and will respond as much as I can. I just want to have a great nights rest every night. It was doing great at first now it seems to going south on me!

You aren't being ignored, LadyBug. I just don't have any experience w/the Resmed S9s. I've only used the S8s, the previous series.

The forum just is not very active, busy right now. I'm guessing most likely due to summer time and vacations. Hopefully Tracy will see your post and respond to it.
