My nose is moderately blocked and drugs don't help. Doc has suggested nasal somnoplasty.


anyone ever have nasal somno and does it really work either short or long term?

I had amazing relief in 3 days time. Even my ENT was surprised. He did say however some people need to have the procedure done twice. Only one day of discomfort, the procedure itself is painless. I had a 20 year history of taking decongestants daily.
I haven't needed one for 3 months now. I had a great experience with it and every day I'm thankful I had the procedure.

It won't cure sleep apnea, but the treatment of sleep apnea can't work if air can't get through your nose. Many people benefit from having xPAP work better after having their sinuses taken care of.

Thanks for the info. I use a dental device. I have a 0 rdi and great sleep as long as my nose is open.

anyone have nasal somno for over a year? In other words, do the effects last?
