our next San Diego meeting is Aug 20th...more info...um Alvarado Hospital at 2:30pm near the Hwy 8 in San Diego. a couple weeks ago we had our first meeting in over a year..about 10 people showed up. we had fun. ran out of time, but not discussions. lol

Okay...guess I should have updated this...we meet at Alvarado Hospital on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 2:30pm-5pm but we will not have a meeting in December...not sure about November...they said we wouldn't, then we would. Um...so I'll try to remember to post one way or another. LoL

And we have a website!!!

well folks we are meeting again this Saturday, Jan 21st from 2:30pm to 5pm...and I am waiting for clarification about where. I will post that as soon as I find out. but we are having a meeting!!

Directly across from the main hospital entrance.


Directions from the West:
Highway 8 East toward El Centro
Exit College Avenue onto College Ave. South toward Alvarado Road.
Left on Alvarado Road
Continue 0.7 mile.


Directions from the East:
Highway 8 West
Exit 70th/Lake Murray Blvd..
Exit onto Parkway Drive.
Left on Lake Murray Blvd.
Right on Alvarado Road
Continue .07 mile



The conference room is not hard to find. Drive a little past the hospital building to the driveway on your left. This leads to the parking garage. Free parking. Walking up from the parking garage you will see a sign for San Diego Rehab Inst. on the
left. It is directly across from the main hospital entrance. After the double doors take the first right. Then it will be the first door on the right.

Hope to see more people there!! Oh and dress warmly because this room tends to be chilly.

Well my sleepy San Diego friends! I have just received an update on our San Diego support group meeting... our next meeting is the Saturday, February 18.

Here is the announcement I got:

New improved support group meeting, this Saturday, February 18th. Introducing a new agenda! More talk time! Dancing girls! Free refreshments! Bring your tambourine's! And now featuring Tam's mystical Talking Stick! Come one, come all!

Now, I don't know a thing about the dancing girls, and I am not one of them!!! And I don't have a tambourine, but I am curious about the changes! My goodness!
