Has anyone that has apneas only when they are on their back tried using a tennis ball in the back of a shirt? I only have apneas when I am on my back (although, I still snore on my side). I am not having much success with CPAP, and thought maybe this would be a better solution.

Thanks,
diligent1

Seems like I can envision certain ways of finigling your on-the-back position (like maybe backing into a pillow or something to where the Tennis ball is not being effective!

Perhaps a better solution might be to try to work out your problems with the cpap. What seems to be your biggest problem with using cpap. Maybe other posters can help you resolve them one at a time.

My biggest problem is that I can't consistently use the nasal masks because my nose gets plugged up an average of 5 days a week. I take every kind of allergy medication known to man, but still have this problem. My Doc wants to use the Full Face Mask as a last resort, but I think I will push it next month when I see him. I was also considering the dental appliance.

Thanks

Check out the oracle mask. It is for mouth breathers. Some people like it.
