So I've mentioned in other posts that I had a vocational study done to determine what type of jobs I'm capable of holding. It came back that I'm virtually unemployable. This report was requested by my long-term disability attorney.

I brought a copy to my social security attorney. She said, "Your other lawyer just won me a case." She said this was crystal clear evidence of why I can't work.

I'll let you know what the outcome is (which could still be FOREVER at this rate...)... But it was nice to hear some good news.

Despite every supportive doctor and medical report about my inability to function. Funny how you need this weird legal mumbo jumbo to support a disability case. Confused

What organization do you go through to have a vocational study done?

My lawyer hooked me up with a vocational doctor. He was great with me, and seemed super smart.

This probably won't be a big help, but our local phone books have a section on "vocational counseling". I would definitely get references tho', as this stuff can be expensive.
