I also just wanted to let you, Tracy, and all of our other readers know that I use this device at home.
I use it on myself when I have a tension headache or just a lot a lot of tension in my back, shoulders, and neck.
I also use it on my husband's low back and sometimes his knees. He and his father have a hardwood floor installation and refinishing business, so his back and knees take a beating every day. He even comes home from work and asks me to use it on him. He really appreciates this form of treatment as he almost developed an ulcer a few years ago from taking too much ibuprofen.
His father also owns an Alpha-Stim device which he uses to treat his arthritis pain, especially in his hands.
We also attend conferences every month nationwide exhibiting Alpha-Stim to practitioners and patients, and while demonstrating treatments to attendees, many obtain relief to some degree right at our booth during their very first treatment. |

Probably the only guaranteed way to know if it will work for you would be to try it. As far as I know, we do not have any studies published or in progress on treating neuropathy associated with chemotherapy treatments. However, we do have research stating that it does reduce hip, leg, and foot pain in diabetic neuropathy. We also have many professional endorsements and testimonials stating that Alpha-Stim has helped with various forms of neuropathy. Please see the following link:

I hope this answers your question. If not, please let me know. As always, please remember that all treatment options should be discussed with your physician. |

hi, i am Vincent Turner from India and i am also suffering from TMJ from last 1/5 years.I used Alpha-Stim device and it gives relief from depression. But it has few side effects like possibility of mild burns around the earlobes due to skin sensitivity, mild dizziness during use, and mild headaches on the first few uses.
Over all, i found it more better than any other antidepressants!! |

| Does this device really help depression? I have been diagnosed with Depression and Narcolepsy and have tried every antidepressant on the market, but nothing really helps me. My doctors are not sure if I feel terrible because of the Narcolepsy or the depression or just the both of them put together. I've never really heard of this device except on this message board and am wondering why. If it really works, I wonder why more people are not using it for depression, insomnia, etc. |
