The size looks great, Tracy. It looks like it would make a great travel companion. And that does look like a clock face, that's a neat feature if it is! But I have one serious question:
| Quote: | | The F&P ICON™ also includes InfoSmart™ technologies, which provide a range of communication and reporting options to suit the patient management preferences of individual medical practices. |
Does the PATIENT have DIRECT access to their data from the previous night w/the ICON Premo or Auto? THAT issue would be THE selling point for me if they were offering a bi-level auto too since I'm stuck needing a bi-level now.
Does F&P have any plans for an ICON bi-level auto in the near future?? |

ICON compliance data does vary between the Premo and Auto - as opposed to the more basic Novo - but all collect data AND the patient does have access. Maybe not as much info as YOU want - but enough for most patients!!!!! Hugs
I too hope they are in development of bilevel........

I almost bought the F&P Icon Auto recently...but because software isn't available, I decided to get the DeVilbiss Intellipap AutoAdjust instead.
Wonder if I want to hunt down the pulse oximeter that'll work with it.... I have a CMS 50-F that I've worn in bed a couple of times....
Though I'll probably take my old CPAP to Las Vegas....not sure how it'll fit in my current travel bag...

But, but, but ... Dreamer! Your old CPAP probably won't bring as much as the IntelliPAP at the pawn shop if you're not successful in Vegas!! |

Throw five dollars on Seven Red for me. I'm always partial to that number whenever I play roulette.
I think it best to travel with your least valuable machine: avoid its being manhandled or lost or having its settings altered by altitude changes. Sure most of them say things about altitude adjustment but why put it to the test. Even it its carry on luggage that cabin is usually between five thousand feet and seven thousand feet because pilots try to save fuel by using less bleed air from the compressors. And remember airline cabins are DRY places and if you don't notice that your nasal passages probably will notice it. |
