I have pain, real pain each and every night as I retire for the day. Its sharp and agonizing for a few seconds (intermittent) until a few seconds later and same thing again mostly in the outer side part of the calves of each leg but occassionally in other parts of the legs. Often there is a throbbing pain that can be sharp or not so sharp. Very often I have to get out of bed to walk a little to ease the pain. I have a stand up and walking job. My legs get tired from the standing but seldom have the sharp pains but sometimes they do...I have read about every thing in the world associated with leg pain but cant find a single thing that has same symptoms as I. I have PERFEIAL VASCULAR DISEASE and have had stents put in my legs twice and this pain is not the same. Before I had pain only on walking NOW I have pain only when resting. What you think? Its ruining my life!!! Help [*]null

Have your doctor check you for a disease called CMT. I think the spelling is Charcot Marie Tooth.
