Sunrise Medical Furthers the Devilbiss Nasal Cpap Mask Line with the New Devilbiss Flexset™ Mask

Longmont, CO - April 3, 2005

Devilbiss Flexset CPAP MaskSunrise Medical recently introduced the new DeVilbiss FlexSet mask to provide nasal CPAP users with a modular and easy-to-use nasal CPAP interface. The cutting-edge interface incorporates the revolutionary ideas, materials, and technologies of the award-winning DeVilbiss FlexAire mask, while adding interchangeable cushions to better suit the patient's needs.

The FlexSet, like its FlexAire predecessor, features Self-anchoring headgear that allows you to put on the headgear without applying the mask, Dual nose bridge pivot points for expanded positioning, Soft Breathe-O-Prene® foam forehead pad to minimize forehead indentation and increase comfort, Hose connection swivel that rotates 360 degrees or can be locked in an upright position, two quick disconnects - one on the mask bridge and the other on the hose swivel, Clipless sliding headgear that makes the mask easy to put on and keeps the mask centered on the face, and it is dishwasher safe.

In addition to these features, the new DeVilbiss FlexSet mask provides four interchangeable cushion options that can quickly and easily interface with the FlexSet frame. The selection of cushions includes standard silicone, shallow silicone, standard gel, and shallow gel. The cushion options also work to save money for provider - if the fit of the mask is not optimal for the patient, simply change out the cushions as opposed to changing out the entire mask. This also provides an additional revenue stream for providers. The FlexSet Nasal CPAP mask offers a cost effective, modular design that is good for providers and patients alike.
