Focusing on four of the most relevant topics for home medical equipment providers, the sixth Continuum of Care conference, sponsored by the American Association for Homecare and VNU Expositions, producers of Medtrade, will take place Monday, October 17, 2005, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The full-day workshop will feature the industry's leading consultants and experts who are prepared to offer practical and pertinent information for attendees.
"As evidenced by past attendance and current interest, the need for the Continuum of Care conference to continue is unmistakable," says Kim Kianka-Roberti, AAHomecare's director of education and meetings. "Because the attendees of this in-depth conference have such a great need for comprehensive education on these topics, we have dedicated many hours to planning the educational content and are confident it will surpass expectations."
The conference will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for certain sessions through the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC), the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS), and the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
According to Kianka-Roberti, attendees will benefit from networking within their focused professional specialties and can participate in the following four tracks:
In addition to the full-day program, attorney Asela Cuervo will present an update on competitive bidding during a lunch session for all attendees.
