I want to thank everyone who had a role in helping with our first national patient sleep conference. To those who were there, it goes without saying that this was an unbridled and obvious success!
It was a great pleasure for me to meet everyone in the Talk About Sleep organization, as well as sleep patients, who traveled from around the country and the dedicated sleep physicians, most notably Dr. William Dement, who were there to teach us what they know about sleep disorders and sleep wellness. I can't imagine a better start in the providing of high quality education conducted, face-to-face, with no time limit or curfew.
At the conclusion of most sessions, there were numerous questions made to most speakers as well as willingness from all the speakers to engage the attendees in conversation until all questions, concerns and issues were addressed. This dedication can never be purchased, it is naturally given. And I want to commend those who tirelessly gave to this conference and that ultimately ensured its outright success. I especially, want to thank Tracy, Matt Nasca, Matt Miller, Betty Kane, Sarah Nasca and my wife Carol for all that they did, in order to make the conference flow smoothly.
As I said in my opening introduction, I expected the combined ingredients of sleep industry representatives, dedicated sleep physicians and PSG techs, as well as the ever curious and interested sleep patients to result in the very best combination of ingredients to generate a special learning environment for all.
I was not disappointed! Thanks for listening, learning, and asking, you are the best!
