Medtrade Spring, the home medical equipment industry's mid-year buying and educational event, will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 24 - 26. The 2007 event, produced by Nielsen Business Media, will highlight new strategies, solutions and technologies for HME providers and other home healthcare professionals. Attendees of Medtrade Spring 2007 will have access to the products and services of over 470 exhibitors - of which 122 are participating for the first time.
"The increased number of exhibitors, particularly those who are exhibiting for the first time, demonstrates innovation is on an upward spiral in the home healthcare industry," says Elizabeth Sommerville, group show director.
A focus on efficiencies will be predominant throughout the Medtrade Spring Expo. "HME providers tell us that they are looking for business solutions that will make them more cost-effective and profitable in today's reimbursement environment," says Carl Will, group vice president of Invacare's HME Group.
Thousands of new products will be showcased at Medtrade Spring, many of which will be debuted at the event. In addition to the products and services offered in the general exhibition, attendees can visit the New Product Pavilion and vote for the best new products in the categories of innovation, merit and "provider's choice."
"CareCentric considers Medtrade Spring an important venue for introducing or reinforcing our capabilities," says Laurie Walling, director of sales and marketing operations for CareCentric.
Following its debut at Medtrade 2006, event coordinators will offer attendees access to myMedtrade, an automated web-based service that gathers solutions, contacts and resources that are personalized for attendees. myMedtrade attendee services include:
