New EverFlo ™ Q Stationary Oxygen Concentrator Delivers
Ultra-quiet Oxygen Therapy at Affordable Price

Home Respiratory Care Group today announced the availability of EverFlo™ Q, an ultra-quiet five-liter stationary oxygen concentrator and newest member of the Company's Freedom Series™ of oxygen therapy products. The 31-pound EverFlo™ Q oxygen concentrator is designed to provide ultra-quiet oxygen therapy to patients while reducing provider costs such as maintenance, unscheduled patient calls and visits, and shipping and storage. These non-equipment related expenses account for 72 percent of the costs of providing home oxygen therapy to oxygen patients.

The EverFlo™ Q ultra-quiet stationary concentrator produces a typical sound level of 40 decibels. Previously, low noise concentrators such as the EverFlo™ Q were only available at a premium price. "EverFlo™ Q was developed in response to providers asking for the benefits of a quiet concentrator without the high cost previously associated with these products," said Jay Vreeland, Director of US Marketing, Home Respiratory Care, Respironics. EverFlo™ Q is Respironics' ultra-quiet follow-up to the EverFlo™ stationary oxygen concentrator released in January 2007. Both concentrators weigh approximately 31 pounds and are low-maintenance, with only two filters to maintain and no provider filter change for two years. EverFlo™ and EverFlo™ Q's light weight and small size make them easier and less expensive for homecare providers to transport and store. For patients, the EverFlo™ and EverFlo™ Q concentrators use less power, produce less heat and do not require patients to replace a filter.
