ResMed releases Mirage Activa™ LT nasal mask: Superior performance, every night

ResMed today introduced the Mirage Activa™ LT nasal mask, a versatile high-performance mask with increased ease of use and new comfort features in a quiet, lightweight design. The Activa LT is an everyday nasal mask that ensures comfort and drives long-term patient compliance.

Mirage Activa LT – fits right for an easy night

The Activa LT is designed to accommodate every patient's unique needs to ensure comfortable, quiet therapy. The compact ActiveCell™ cushion automatically adjusts to varying sleeping positions and pressure modes, while the gentle floating seal reduces facial marks and eye irritation produced by excessive headgear tension and mask-leak. The new streamlined design is 49% quieter and 70% more diffused than the Mirage Activa, 1 dispersing air quietly and gently, improving comfort for the patient and their bed partner. The slender frame and compact cushion offer a clear field of vision.

Significantly fewer mask parts make assembly, disassembly and maintenance simple and convenient. And convenient new clips easily attach and detach, allowing for quick removal.

Originally introduced with the original Mirage Activa, and now more streamlined on the Mirage Activa LT, ResMed's ActiveCell technology combines the superior seal and comfort of Mirage dual-wall cushion design with an inflatable chamber that expands and contracts during therapy, providing a unique, active seal and dynamic defense against mask leak. The ActiveCell functions as an independent suspension, keeping the cushion in place for a stable fit that adjusts to suit user movements and therapy pressure changes throughout the night.
