WHAT: MINERVAce.com is a forum for continuing education in medicine and dentistry course review. The web site was created in response to demand for a single source of information provided by educators, as well as unbiased and unfiltered feedback by course participants. MINERVAce.com will focus on fast-growing field of Dental Sleep Medicine, at launch.

“As Dental Sleep Medicine becomes an integral part of general and specialty dental practices and as courses on Dental Sleep Medicine proliferate, it’s essential for those entering the field to be able to judge which educational courses are the most worthwhile,” says founder, Dr. Larry Barsh.

HOW: Courses are listed at the web site’s landing page. Participants register to leave feedback. Course attributes such as the instructor, relevance, and likelihood to recommend are rated on a numerical scale. Comments are also solicited.

MINERVAce.com is affiliated with Snoring Isn’t Sexy, LLC, which complies with the HONcode (Health on the Net) standard for trustworthy health information. MINERVAce.com will soon expand the scope of course review to other areas of dentistry, and to medicine – especially as it relates to sleep medicine. Dr. Barsh is widely regarded as a proponent of dentistry’s role in educating the public about health issues. The new web site addresses his dedication to sound, ethical education at the professional level.
