The American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) is kicking off their National CPAP Donation Program with a fund raiser in the Twin Cities area. The event is hosted by Methodist Hospital Sleep Disorder Center- Park Nicollet Clinic who has the largest American Sleep Apnea Association A.W.A.K.E. (alert, well and keeping energetic) sleep apnea patient support group in the United States.
This very worthy charity provides free CPAP equipment to patients in need. To help raise funding, the ASAA CAP (CPAP Assistance Program) will offer raffles and a silent auction. Join in for the fun and festivities and of course, the educational opportunity.
The event includes exhibits featuring the latest and greatest in CPAP equipment and other treatment options including dental devices, Provent Therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy for the treatment of sleep apnea.
The first 100 attendees will receive a free CPAP tubing cover provided by Philips Respironics. If you have a CPAP or humidifier (slightly used and in good condition) that you would like to donate, bring it with you to the event and receive a free standard CPAP tubing as our thank you. If you, or someone you know, are in need of free CPAP equipment, information will be provided at the event or email info@talkaboutsleep.com.
Help us get the word out. Click here for a PDF of the Sleep Fair flyer to distribute to your doctors office, sleep lab and CPAP provider.
