DeVilbiss Expands eCompliance Technology with Internet Processing Software 2.0

Longmont, CO

Note: This product is no longer available

The DeVilbiss eCompliance System is comprised of the DeVilbiss 9000, 9001, or 8054, a SMART Track modem (SMLINK-300), and the IPS Software. The SMART Track modem is connected to the CPAP and placed in the patient's home. Each night for the first week, and every three days thereafter, the SMART Track modem will initiate a call to the DeVilbiss eCompliance Server. The server will retrieve, analyze, and store the patient CPAP usage data via the modem. If potential non-compliance is detected, the Dealer and any other assigned recipients will receive an email notification. This allows dealers to spend time addressing non-compliance as opposed to identifying it.

The IPS 2.0 Software enhancements include the ability to remotely adjust settings to the 9001 CPAP (such as pressure) and the 8054 AutoAdjust LT (hypopnea and apnea parameters). Once adjustments are set remotely, the next modem call will change the patients CPAP parameters.

Furthermore, dealers now have the ability to define thresholds for low usage (non-compliance), replacing the previous versions default threshold of 4 hours or less a night. Additionally, Dealers have more flexibility to edit notification parameters and to choose which email notifications they receive.

The IPS 2.0 software will work with existing SMART Track modems (SMLINK-200) as well as new SMART Track modems (SMLINK 300). The IPS software will automatically upgrade any SMLINK 200 units that are currently in the field.
