FOSQ is a clinically validated questionnaire that can be used to measure the effect that Sleep Apnea has had on your life and can also be used to demonstrate the change in your quality of life since you've been using positive pressure therapy. The device records your answers, which are available for review by your physician or home healthcare provider.
Allows your physician and home healthcare provider to remotely track your progress and review long-term changes in your FOSQ responses. The data logged on the SmartCard and additional clinical information will help your physician determine if you are receiving effective therapy.
The Ramp feature reduces the pressure that is being delivered when you first lay down to sleep and begin therapy. The pressure gradually increases (ramp) until it reaches your prescribed therapeutic pressure. This temporary decrease in pressure may help you to fall asleep more easily. On the REMstar unit, a physician can prescribe a ramp time of 0 - 45 minutes and the pressure will gradually increase until it reaches your prescribed therapeutic pressure. You can control what pressure the ramp starts with.
The Deluxe Ramp feature is designed to provide you with added comfort to help you fall asleep. C-Flex technology is designed to help you stay asleep. Use this comfort combination to help you get the rest you need.
A "Mask Off Alert" will sound if you inadvertently remove your mask during sleep. The alert tone will sound to signal that you should restart therapy. This feature is typically used only as long as needed. Once you have become accustomed to therapy, you can disable the Mask Off Alert.
