The Cariloha bamboo sheets are a set of four-piece bedsheets made from bamboo viscose. According to the brand, they will fit mattresses up to 18 inches. These sheets include fitted and flat sheets with two pillowcases. The biggest downside with bamboo sheets is that they get easily wrinkled, and you have to air dry or line dry and iron them before spreading them on the bed.
As these are made from viscose from bamboo, we’d see how the Cariloha Classic Bamboo Bedsheets respond to pressure and if they ever get as wrinkled as other bamboo sheets, such as the Malouf bamboo sheets. Also, we will give you an analysis of how the bedsheets perform during use and maintenance.
First, we want to go over the basic features of the Cariloha classic bamboo bed sheet set and what you get when you decide to purchase it.
The Cariloha Classic Bamboo Bedsheets are a piece of 4 bedding set that includes flat and fitted sheets with two pillowcases. The pillowcases are fitted and measure 20 by 30 inches.
The sheets are made from 100% viscose from bamboo, and the care includes washing it in a cold cycle and a low tumble dry.
One of the first things we think you’ll notice when you open the package is that they’re very soft. The brand says that they’re twice as soft as cotton. While we are usually skeptical about advert lines like this, they feel incredibly soft.
Although these sheets feel great, there are a few cons to talk about. The biggest one is probably the wrinkling of the sheets, as you would expect from sheets made from bamboo materials. So, the instructions say to wash them in cold water, tumble dry and then take them out immediately. After they get dry, you can put them on your bed.
After a few nights of sleep, you can see that the fabric is wrinkly, especially on the pillowcase. So, they’re not going to stay perfect, but you may have to iron them. However, if ironing is not your thing, you want to consider that before buying the sheets.
However, we liked how transparent the brand is about its manufacturing process. They have videos and a lot of information on their website about how they make the bamboo into a thread which then gets moving into the fabric to make their bedding.
Like most bedsheets, the bamboo sheets are available in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and Cal King sizes. They can fit mattresses that are 10 inches thick. Cariloha advertises the sheets saying it can fit up to an 18-inch-thick mattress. But we do think that there wasn’t a ton of space left after using it in a 10-inch mattress. We feel like that would be tight if you had a huge mattress like that. However, if they manage to fit, it would probably be a little tight.
The sheets are made from 100% viscose from bamboo. The material is soft, hypoallergenic, and great for people with sensitive skin. The care includes washing it in a cold cycle and a low tumble dry. The material repels odor and is temperature regulatory in nature.
The bedsheets are in a flat and fitted design. With the queen set, the sheets are supposed to fit a 60 by 80-inch bed, and the depth of the sheets are supposed to fit in an 18-inch mattress.
The maintenance instructions say that you need to wash them in a cold and gentle cycle. So, they’re not just materials you can throw in with other types of fabric. You have to be a little bit more delicate with them.
The color options include ivory, sage, beach linen, white, and Tahitian breeze. Each color option varies in price from the others. The cheapest color is white and Tahitian, while the beach linen, sage, and ivory colors are more expensive.
The sheets breathe well, and we think they feel very durable. There are no issues with pilling or any wear and tear after washing them. They get a little softer after you wash them.
Unfortunately, the bedsheets come with just a year of warranty. We expected more since the bamboo viscose material is very durable. In comparison with other bamboo sheets from other brands, it’s common for you to get five years.
Sold for around $120 to $200, a set, we think that’s a pretty pricey range for sheets. But be aware that you’re getting very soft sheets. And you’re getting fabric from a brand that takes a lot into consideration with how they make their products, which we think speaks a lot about the quality of the fabric as well. So, we think it’s a good price in that sense.
Some of the key features of the bedsheets are:

Overall, we really like the sheets. The Cariloha Classic Bamboo Bedsheets are incredibly soft and lightweight. We had no issues feeling hot or cold during the night, and the fabric breathed well. However, we don’t like how easily they wrinkled. As we mentioned in the Cariloha bamboo sheets review, you need to be a little bit careful when you are machine washing and drying them. They have to be air-dried and ironed for the best results, especially against wrinkles.
However, they are mattresses derived from a natural material – bamboo viscose. The good thing about them is that they resist odor and are hypoallergenic. Certified by OEKO-Tex, they are perfect for people with sensitive skin who have the time to maintain it.
